Kelly Flaherty Clark is the Vice President of Zoological Operations at SeaWorld’s Discovery Cove, and the president of the International Marine Animal Trainers’ Association. Her responsibilities include managing the education and conservation initiatives, and overseeing the health, behavior modification, training, and enrichment for all of the animals, (dolphins, otters, marmosets and other small mammals, sharks, rays, fish and birds) at Discovery Cove. She has multifaceted care, training, and performing experience with animals ranging in size from small otters and birds to 12,000-pound killer whales, and has received several international marine animal training and husbandry awards. Ms. Flaherty Clark is a graduate of The Ohio State University, and has her masters in biology from Clemson University; she has been with SeaWorld for 32 years.
