Gersh Autism’s West Hills campus now a Certified Autism Center™, designated by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). School staff have completed a training and certification program to further enhance their understanding and commitment to ensuring autistic students have the best educational outcomes.

“We are honored that IBCCES has recognized Gersh Autism’s West Hills campus as autism certified,” said Kevin Gersh, Founder/CEO of Gersh Autism. “Our 18-acre campus is built around creating a unique and safe experience for our students.”

West Hills Academy is a K-12 private alternative school specializing in meeting students’ needs for whom the traditional classroom is not working.  Their program is structured to support each child’s individual needs – emotionally, socially, and academically.  West Hills learners are diagnosed with various learning difficulties such as ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

For more than 20 years, IBCCES has been the industry leader in cognitive disorder training and certification for education, healthcare, and corporate professionals around the globe. IBCCES provides evidence-based training and certification programs created in conjunction with clinical experts and individuals with autism in order to provide professionals serving individuals with cognitive disorders a better understanding of what these disorders are, industry best practices, and the latest research in these areas.
