Why did you choose your profession?

I chose my profession as a pure passion to work with children. It gives me a great sense of satisfaction and fulfillment when I help children and I see that I have made a difference in their life.

What’s your favorite part about what you do?

When I have therapy sessions. I enjoy with the little kids doing activities which actually are skill training sessions for them and I see them learn those skills. It makes me overjoyed.

How has your IBCCES training/credential helped you in your career?

I feel immensely satisfied and proud of getting the CAS credentials. The training was awesome and opened my views on certain topics. I learned a lot about inclusion and a greater understanding of Autism.

How do you use/implement what you learned in the IBCCES certification training?

I would definitely use these skills learned. I loved the way the prompting was taught and how Dr. Shores taught how to handle aggressive children. I will use those techniques.
