What’s your favorite part about what you do? |
My favorite part is helping children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions improve their self-care skills, self-regulatory skills, and fine motor skills for handwriting. I love to guide my kids’ parents as they need our support.
How has your IBCCES training/credential helped you in your career? |
Well, I started working holistically. I am proud of myself. I found the training that helped me better understand children with autism.
How do you use/implement what you learned in the IBCCES certification training? |
I deliver a range of interventions aimed towards assessing and treating a person’s functional abilities, increasing awareness and knowledge of mental health conditions such as autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Attention Deficit Disorder, amongst others, and how to manage them, helping them to gain independence. |
