Downtown Visalians Merchant Association Earns Certified Autism Center™ Designation

Downtown Visalians is now a Certified Autism Center™, a designation granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). The Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) designation means that staff have completed training and certification to better understand autistic individuals or those with sensory needs. Houston Museum of Natural Science Expands Accessibility Offerings and Adds Two New Certified Autism Centers™

Since announcing their Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) designation in 2020, the Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) has been working extensively to broaden its accessibility options to better serve autistic individuals and other sensory-sensitive visitors. New Haven Learning Centre Autism Certification through IBCCES

(Etobicoke, ON, December, 7, 2021) New Haven Learning Centre is now a Certified Autism Center™ (CAC), designated by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). To become a CAC requires at least 80% of client-facing staff to complete a professional training and certification program specific to serving autistic individuals or those with sensory needs. The certification also requires renewal every 2 years and additional professional development in those areas.

Paoli Fire Company Becomes the First of Its Kind in Pennsylvania to Earn Certified Autism Center™ Designation

The Paoli Fire Company has become the first fire company in Pennsylvania to receive the Certified Autism Center™ designation. This designation is granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), which means the public-facing staff and firefighters at Paoli Fire Company have received training through IBCCES to better understand and assist autistic individuals or those with sensory sensitivities.
