Modesto Fire Department has earned the Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) designation. This certification, granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), is awarded to organizations that have trained at least 80% of their first responders and public-facing team members to better communicate with and respond to the needs of autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals.
