I thank Dr Amarasinghe for their response to our article.[1] Research shows that IT systems are one of factors that can increase stress among healthcare workers through problems such as their slow speeds, time spent on data entry, and IT failures. Design of well-functioning IT systems is essential in improving the working conditions and productivity of healthcare workers.
