Center Certification Options
Our BCCC designation is for organizations who work with individuals with a variety of cognitive needs. Your staff will be trained and certified through our Board Certified Cognitive Specialist and Certified Cognitive Coach programs, with training content on best practices and strategies for working with individuals with autism, anxiety, ADHD, and dyslexia.
All Board Certified Centers meet the following requirements:
- Dedicated to serving individuals with cognitive disorders
- At least 80% of staff is trained and certified in cognitive disorders through IBCCES
- Maintain compliance with accreditation standards
- Is committed to ongoing training in cognitive disorders
Our CAC designation is for organizations who work with individuals with autism. Your staff will be trained and certified through our Certified Autism Specialist and Autism Certificate programs, with training content on best practices and strategies for working with autistic individuals and those with other sensory disorders.
All Certified Autism Centers meet the following requirements:
- Dedicated to serving individuals with autism
- At least 80% of staff is trained and certified in autism through IBCCES
- Maintain compliance with accreditation standards
- Is committed to ongoing training in autism
How It Works
Your team will complete our online training and certification process. And 80% of student-facing staff must complete the program to earn Certified Autism Center™ or Board Certified Cognitive Center designation.
*Your organization may undergo an onsite review by IBCCES experts to include a comprehensive report with suggested changes or modifications to better serve individuals with cognitive disorders (requirement depends on the size of the organization).
Once you become a Certified Autism Center™ or Board Certified Cognitive Center, you will be featured as a certified organization on CertifiedAutismCenter.com, which has been developed by IBCCES as a credible resource to help leading organizations across the globe showcase themselves as safe, sensory-friendly, trained and certified option for familes, autistic individuals or those with other cognitive disorders.
