Report Looks at How Some States Use Response to Intervention

A recent report on the use of Response to Intervention in the nine Northeast and Island Region states showed that seven jurisdictions used or promoted RTI as an approach to supporting struggling students in general education or for determining eligibility for special education at the local level.

The November report, released by the National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance, was generated from an online search for RTI-related information on the state education agencies’ Web sites. Click here to see the report.
