The credential, granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), validates center’s commitment to providing better support and enhancing learning outcomes for autistic students.
The Autism Center of Excellence (ACE) at Easterseals Southwest Florida earns the Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) designation from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). To achieve the Certified Autism Center™ designation, the Center for Excellence met requirements which includes a commitment to the highest standards of autism care, having at least 80% of staff trained and certified, and a dedication to engaging in specialized autism training on an ongoing basis. By meeting these criteria, Center has demonstrated its commitment to providing enhanced care and support for autistic individuals.
FatCats Mesa, a family entertainment center, proudly announces its distinction as a Certified Autism Center™ (CAC), granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). Through specialized training and certification provided by IBCCES, the team at FatCats Mesa has gained an in-depth understanding of autism and acquired effective communication techniques to better serve their autistic and sensory sensitive customers. IBCCES also conducted an onsite review to provide additional ways the entertainment center can accommodate visitors and create detailed sensory guides for each area as part of the certification process.
Eagle Mount Billings, an adaptive recreation organization, proudly announces its achievement of the Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) designation. To meet CAC requirements, staff completed training and certification to assist better and accommodate autistic or sensory-sensitive individuals and ensure they can participate fully in recreational activities.
The High Point Arts Council is proud to announce its achievement of earning the prestigious Certified Autism Center™ designation from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).
