The need for training: feedback from parents

  • Tricia Sommerfeld headshot

Tricia Sommerfeld, BCBA, LBS1, AC & BCTS

My IBCCES training has helped give me more background information (neurological and developmental) about individuals on the spectrum and has helped guide my Telehealth practice so that I can help others to reach those individuals we serve during remote learning.

  • Rajashree Srirangarajan headshot

    Rajashree Srirangarajan, SLP, CAS

IBCCES’ training and certification gave me the confidence to share my expertise in the area of autism. Planning behavior modification strategies along with communication strategies.

  • Amanda Schleicher

    Amanda Schleicher, Occupational Therapist, CAS

Due to COVID-19, school has been shut down, so providing OT services has looked quite a bit different. Having the knowledge from the CAS training has helped me to improve my rapport with the students with autism that I serve via virtual interactions. But, more so right now due to homeschooling, I’ve used the knowledge I’ve gained to more effectively educate, inform, and support the families of my students with autism so they can better interact with and support their children within their home environment.

  • Prudence Hatchett headshot

Prudence Hatchett, LPC, NCC, BC-TMH, CCATP, KLSC, ACAS

I have been fortunate enough in my career to combine my two passions, behavioral health and education. This credential allows others to trust in my abilities as a professional. I work directly with autistic persons, their families, and their teachers. Working in multiple environments, such as homes/offices/classrooms, allows me to reach a broader clientele which also helps them transfer their skills across environments.
