What’s your favorite part about what you do?

I love helping families, including ones like mine, have a truly enjoyable vacation where everyone can relax.

How has your IBCCES training/credential helped you in your career?

By being certified and trained by IBCCES, I can provide my nannies and families with essential information they might not have otherwise known. My company and nannies feel more confident because they received proper training and education. This certification provides families with a sense of security when booking my nannies, knowing that they are certified by IBCCES.

How do you use/implement what you learned in the IBCCES certification training?

The knowledge that I gained from being certified by IBCCES has played an integral part in preparing my nannies to adequately take care of autistic children. They are more capable of understanding and communicating with these children. They understand stimming, they know triggers and how to manage triggers. They are now able to tell the difference between a tantrum and a meltdown. They know how best to handle sensory overload in our clients. The lessons learned in training have been a real asset to my company.
