Adetoun F. Agboola
BCCS & Director of Special Education
Why did you choose your profession?
I did not choose my profession; I only followed my passion. I have had a passion for interacting with children with special needs since I was a young girl in secondary school. Providence led me to study Special Education and I am happy to be in the profession today.
What’s your favorite part about what you do?
I enjoy designing treatment/therapy programs for children with special needs. My present hobby is collaborating with schools to provide inclusive options for the children. I also look forward to seeing the progress of the children I work with over time.
How has your IBCCES training/credential helped you in your career?
IBCCES training is classic. Even though I have two degrees in Special Education, IBCCES’ BCCS training provided opportunities that deepened my horizon and knowledge of the sector. It also gave me the needed leverage in the profession. I am grateful I signed up. |
