What’s your favorite part about what you do?

I have been able to explain autism to my coworkers in ways that they understand better. I was able to help them differentiate instruction and provide classroom interventions for students with AU. In turn it has helped our school become more inclusive and understanding.

How has your IBCCES training/credential helped you in your career?

It has given me a foundational understanding on how to support my students and the teachers I work with. I am currently in school to become a BCBA. This training helped with understanding what my chosen career will entail.

How do you use/implement what you learned in the IBCCES certification training?

I will use my training to help develop and implement interventions for students with disabilities. I help staff come to a better understanding of the student’s disability so they can support the students properly.
